Naturally you want to look your best for a photo session so here’s some tips on choosing what to wear.
-Colour is good – just not too many together
-Try not to wear all the same colour unbroken by anything else – like all black
-Patterns are fine just don’t put too many patterns together otherwise your eyes won’t know where to look when you get the images back!
-For bubs simple clothing that looks smart but comfortable and is easy to get them in and out of quickly.
-With children let them help you choose what they shoulds wear as it will say something about their personality and age or stage – like the 4 year old girl who gets around in fairy outfits ALL the time is fine – just make sure its clean and fits fairly well. If you little one chooses a dress up or something you’re not sure about bring some alternatives and I might be able to coax them into something else if their first choice isn’t quite right.
-With groups/families just check there are not too many clashing colours and patterns in the group
-Try to avoid any clothing with large lettering or logos as they tend to date quickly
-Most importantly try to make a clothing choice you feel comfortable wearing. There’s nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable while having your picture taken
