There was a Friday in December that was wet. I mean WET!! Really, REALLY WET!! In fact I have never shot a wedding on such a wet rainy day. Lisa and Shaun had planned for sunshine – but best laid plans can come undone and on Friday December 7th, the weather gods were not interested in being cooperative. It was a shining example of why a wet weather plan is an important thing to have. Lisa and Shaun had planned a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Rosemount Estate – that plan wasn’t to be but it certainly didn’t railroad their day. They had a cosy ceremony under the marquee instead and it was beautiful. Later on as the rain slowed a bit we decided to take our chances and go off round the Estate for location photo’s and, in spite of the soggy ground, we had a great time and got some awesome photo’s! They say rain on your wedding day is good luck for the marriage – I don’t think Lisa and Shaun needed the extra luck – congratulations Lisa and Shaun!!
