A church wedding!! YES!!! There are so few churches in Christchurch that are able to be used for weddings, that just the hint of wood polish that lingers discreetly inside churches with many wooden pews, made me crazy with excitement! Like – CRAZY! Then add a super cool couple and an awesome bridal party and BOOM! That’s an awesome wedding!! That’s Alicia and Eamons wedding.
Two weeks ago on September 22nd I made the trip to Timaru – a place I now call “The land of church wedding happiness”. They were married at The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament – holy amazingness – WHAT A Church!!! It was just so amazing, grand, beautiful and perfectly fitting for such a beautiful wedding. Its so sad we don’t have anything like it in Christchurch right at the moment.
Alicia and Eamons morning nerves gave way to blissful happiness ( and I suspect a little bit of relief once the formalities were over) and their day was certainly one to be remembered. I hope you guys had the time of your lives, Alicia and Eamon. Here’s a preview for you….
PS: To anyone else getting married in Timaru or surrounds – PLEASE CALL ME! I wanna come back! I had a brilliant time!!
